The Medicaid EHR Incentive/PI Program is a federal program administered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission’s Medicaid and CHIP Services department. Eligibility criteria, meaningful use requirements, and other broad program policies are established by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
