The Texas Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Promoting Interoperability (PI) Program ended December 31, 2021. In the coming months, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission will conduct program closeout activities, including audits of providers who have previously participated in the program. Any provider who received an EHR/PI Program incentive payment for program years 2020 and 2021 may be subject to an audit. HHSC requires providers to maintain detailed records to support their program eligibility and attestation for a minimum of six years after receipt of incentive payments.
