In an effort to continually improve the EHR Incentive Program for providers and the State, Texas Medicaid makes the following policy changes, effective immediately:
1. Prior to participating in the Texas Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, the provider must follow standard Medicaid enrollment procedures to enroll as a Medicaid billing or performing provider and have an active Texas Medicaid Provider Identification Number (TPI). Click
2. Under the Texas Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, a physician assistant (PA) practicing in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) or rural health clinic (RHC) led by a PA is eligible for incentive payments. These PAs are required to upload the signed
